Function: It is designed to convert a standard pistol holster (like the USGI M12 or Universal Holster) or other MOLLE pouches into a drop-leg or thigh-mounted platform. This lowers the position of the gear for easier access, especially when wearing body armor or vests.
System Compatibility: It is a component of the MOLLE II (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system.
Design Features:
Features PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) webbing (typically 2 columns and 4 rows) on the face for attaching MOLLE-compatible holsters, magazine pouches, or other accessories.
Has MOLLE/snap tabs on the back for attaching the extender itself to a belt, Fighting Load Carrier (FLC), or other MOLLE-compatible gear.
Includes an adjustable leg strap with a quick-release buckle (Fastex style) to secure the platform around the thigh.
